On 30 January 2026, the Regional Court in Bratislava, acting as the appellate court, upheld the judgment of the Bratislava III District Court, which had dismissed a public anti-discrimination action concerning the alleged segregation of Roma women in the maternity ward of Prešov Hospital.

The appellate court agreed with both the factual findings and the legal conclusions of the court of first instance and upheld the contested judgment in its entirety.
