The report released in 2003 summarizes the results of research documenting numerous cases of forced and coerced sterilization of Romani women, physical and verbal assaults, racial discrimination in the provision of health care, misinformation of these women on health issues and denial of access to medical records. The report strongly encoureged public discussion about this issue in Slovakia.
