At the end of May 2024, we met again with Roma activists from Jarovnice and Hermanovce. In addition to women with whom we have been cooperating for a long time, the two-day meeting was also attended by new women from these localities who are also interested in learning more about human rights or addressing human rights violations.

The meeting created a space to meet new women. We also discussed expectations, as well as the rules for future meetings.

From the archive of the Slovak national TV we watched the documentary “My Body, My Life”, documenting the stories of three illegally sterilized Roma women and their efforts to seek justice.

Finally, we planned our next meetings in more detail for the rest of the year.
