On July 10, 2025, we gave an interview to Czech journalist Aneta Lakomá for the Slovak newspaper Kapitál about a significant case of the unjustified transfer of Roma children to special classes in Hermanovce.

In the interview, our colleague recounted the story of three Roma children whose families decided to fight for their rights in court. Thanks to their determination and our free legal assistance, we have jointly achieved the first ever legally binding decision by Slovak courts in favor of Roma children who were illegally educated in the special education system in Slovakia.

The mother of one of the affected children also gave an interview, openly sharing her story and experiences.

This case represents a significant milestone in the fight for equality and justice for Roma children in Slovakia.
