On April 27, 2026, as part of the Upre ženy program, we provided educational training for Roma women from Luník IX, following an invitation from Karpatská nadácia.

During the meeting, we focused on the topic of discrimination in employment and on people’s rights when seeking work and in the workplace. We discussed various forms of unfair treatment, shared participants’ experiences, and jointly explored ways to effectively defend against discrimination.

We consider such meetings an important space for raising awareness, strengthening self-confidence, and promoting equal opportunities. Open discussion and mutual sharing of experiences also help create a safe environment where women can talk about the challenges they face.

We would like to thank the foundation for the invitation and trust, and all participants for their openness and active engagement. We believe that through activities like these, we can contribute to greater protection of rights and support for equal treatment.
