Report on the Implementation of Anti-Discrimination Legislation in Slovakia
Every year, we prepare a report for the European Commission on the implementation of anti-discrimination legislation in Slovakia. This year, we again provide an up-to-date overview of the state of protection against discrimination and unequal treatment in Slovakia.
The report was authored by our cooperating lawyer Vanda Durbáková, a member of the European Equality Law Network (EELN), a network of legal experts on gender equality and non-discrimination.
The report examines the current state of anti-discrimination protection in Slovakia and also addresses specific cases of discrimination that we encounter in our legal practice.
It also includes recommendations addressed to Slovak state institutions. These recommendations aim to strengthen the protection of people facing discrimination and unequal treatment and to contribute to the more effective implementation of anti-discrimination legislation in practice.
The report is available online in English here.
