District Court Bratislava III on 6 February 2020 dismissed actio popularis lawsuit of our non-governmental organization against the Slovak Republic, represented by the Ministry of Education, addressing segregation of Roma children at a primary school in a village Muránska Dlhá Lúka and failures of the state authorities to take effective measures to eliminate it. We filed the lawsuit in 2015 due to the reported construction of a new school in close vicinity of a local residentially segregated Roma community. The judgment is in Slovak only. It has been appealed and as such is not final yet.
