The District Court Bratislava III by its judgment announced of 29 July 2022 rejected the lawsuit of Center for Civil and Human Rights (Poradňa) addressing the practice of segregation of Roma women at the meternity ward in the Prešov hospital. The court proceedings in the case were initiated by actio popularis lawsuit filed under the Anti-Discrimination Act by our NGO. We consider the judgment of the court of first instance to be unlawful and therefore we will appeal against it.
