We are implementing the RISE project in cooperation with our partner organisation, EMMA Egyesület from Hungary. The project focuses on discrimination, unequal treatment and violence that Roma women may face in gynaecological and obstetric healthcare. By sharing and documenting the experiences of Roma women, we aim to strengthen their awareness of their rights, foster solidarity among women, and create space for their active participation in advocating for changes in healthcare. We will also use women’s experiences in our advocacy activities and in developing recommendations for healthcare institutions and policymakers.

We are implementing this project from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2028, in cooperation with our partner non-governmental organisation EMMA Egyesület, based in Hungary.
