In August 2024, we sent a submission to the Advisory Committee on the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities, in which we described a number of shortcomings in the implementation of the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities by the Slovak Government in relation to the Roma minority in our country. In it, we draw attention, among other things, to the violation of the reproductive rights of Roma women, the shortcomings in the investigation of police violence and the ongoing unequal access of Roma children to education. The submission was made in the framework of the ongoing sixth monitoring cycle by the Advisory Committee.
