Judgment of the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic Holding that Slovakia Must Respect Decisions of UN Treaty Bodies

n its judgment of 19 November 2025, the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic ruled in favour of our client, who had sought justice before the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD).

In this landmark decision, the Constitutional Court held that Slovakia must respect its international obligations in the field of protection against discrimination, including decisions of UN treaty bodies.
