European Commission published a new report on the implementation od antidiscrimination legislation in Slovakia
The European Commission published a report that provides a detailed insight into the implementation of anti-discrimination legislation, including the Anti-Discrimination Act in Slovakia in 2021. As in previous years – the report was prepared by our collaborating lawyer Vanda Durbáková in the framework of her cooperation with the European Network of Legal Experts on Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination.
In addition to the legal framework and the analysis of the implementation of anti-discrimination legislation in Slovakia, the report also includes information about number of cases of discrimination that we deal with in Poradňa.
The report focuses not only on discrimination on grounds of ethnicity and race, but also on other discriminatory grounds such as age, disability, sexual orientation or religious belief.
The report is available here.
