The European Commission published a report that provides a detailed insight into the implementation of anti-discrimination legislation, including the Anti-Discrimination Act in Slovakia in 2018. Our cooperating lawyer, Vanda Durbakova, also participated in the preparation of this report in cooperation with the European Network of Legal Experts on Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination.

In addition to the legal framework and the analysis of the implementation of anti-discrimination legislation in Slovakia, the report also includes information about number of cases of discrimination that we deal with in Center for Civil and Human Rights (Poradňa). The report focuses not only on discrimination on grounds of ethnicity and race, but also on other discriminatory grounds such as age, disability, sexual orientation or religious belief.
