In November, we were approached by young Roma women and men from the Student Media Network civic association, who were interested in learning more about human rights and activism.

Our colleagues, Agáta and Laura, introduced them to our work and shared successful cases in which Roma women and men stood up for their rights and achieved justice before Slovak courts as well as before the European Court of Human Rights.

They were particularly interested in the topic of discrimination, which remains highly relevant today. Our presentation showed them that justice can be achieved even in challenging cases.

We would like to thank the young Roma women and men for their positive feedback and wish them every success in their future activities aimed at building a better future for the Roma minority in Slovakia.
